Photo 1The first image is in black and white and shows repetition and depth of field. The camera was at eye level and was against the wall. I shot it like this so that the repeating lines from the bricks would lead you through the image. It also included aperture because there is one spot that is completely focused on the brick, where you can see the texture of the brick wall, and the rest is blurry, which adds an interesting effect to the image. The blurriness almost adds an old fashioned look to it.

Photo 4- Line and Shape
- Pattern and Texture - Repetition of circles - Diagonal shot with a shallow depth of field - Leading lines - Rule of thirds |
Photo 2This photo is part of my painting with light assignment. It was taken with a slow shutter speed to allow all the light to be captured in the motion of an infinity sign. The rule of thirds was incorporated when taking this photo because the smaller infinity sign is centered in the middle. It is an interesting photo because you have the infinity sign and to the left in side the sign is the person that used the light to create the photo.
Photo 3This picture was taken at school and shows pattern and texture. It also has repetition within the walls, ground and on the ceiling. It also incorporates the rule of thirds because if you were to put the grid in it would almost perfectly match up with the lines in the picture. I transformed this into black and white because I felt it looked better. Lastly this image has leading lines that bring the viewer into the picture.
