Pattern and Texture: Black & White
I think my best photo is the fourth picture. This is a picture of a strobe light taken at a close distance in my house. I took the picture straight on at a horizontal perspective so the detail could be seen. I used the rule of thirds when I took this picture by having the middle light touching the four lines in the middle. This picture shows pattern and texture with the light (white circles) repeating and the 3D mini light bulbs popping out. When it is on, it does show rhythm because it plays music and goes with the beat of the music.
My last picture is overexposed on the left side. This caused the image to be washed out and blurry.
The second picture is underexposed. Although it shows contrast between the road and the columns, I think the repeating columns are too dark and become just a black blur in the picture.
The picture with the proper amount of exposure is the third picture. This pictures has an equal amount of dark and light areas creating a balance which allows it to have a proper exposure.
